Mount Meru is the second highest mountain in Tanzania. The peak of Mount Meru stands at 4566 m above sea level. Mount Meru is part of Arusha National Park, one of the parks which are near Arusha town, a popular northern city in Tanzania known as a stopover to all the Northern National Parks. Mount Meru is believed to have erupted 100 years ago. Climbing Mount Meru Trek 4 Days is much more rewarding because during the first days of climbing, especially at lower altitudes, you are likely to spot several species of wildlife that inhabit within the park. These include Buffaloes, Giraffes, Warthogs, Monkeys, Zebras and several species of birds.
